Fajon reaffirmed Slovenia's full support for efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus, underscoring the importance of dialogue and diplomatic cooperation. She also highlighted the significance of the Armenian government's "Crossroads of Peace" initiative, particularly in the context of reopening regional transport routes.
Pashinyan and Fajon discussed various regional topics, including the progress made on the draft agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the establishment of peace and interstate relations. Pashinyan reiterated his government's firm commitment to the peace agenda.
Fajon stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen ties with Armenia, noting that her visit aimed to explore opportunities and next steps to enhance bilateral cooperation.
